Artist's CommentsON THE PIECE La niña Brujula means The Compass Girl, there she is not a compass obviously but this is inspired on one of my surreal poems called the same way. Is in Spanish so I might translate it for you to get an idea. Then I'll see if I can explain this. LA NIÑA BRUJULA Oh pretty face painted with desires, biting your tenuous lips the color of a rose that's hurt. As if you didn't owe to the time and the wind made you his, lay there as a lonely virgen with the hiden innocence. Lost within your lap I feel so dissapointed, because your desolated smiles illuminate another hearts. Many other, beating hearts, all of them outside of my chest. what have I done to you, girl of mine, for you to deprive me of you love. Oh my tender girl, pure with thighs that taste of first time. Everything out there you paint it black just as a chess game you play. and your warm clouds white and blue to which many believe are your eyes, are the lanterns of my road filled with anger and concern. Because those tiny hands of yours should have never touched the skin of mine, and those youthfull lips color rose never ever should have caress me, and those eyes of sad fireflies never my life enlighten. Oh pain of mine help me fix myself or simply finish to disarm me. La Niña Brujula is inspired by a love that is not corresponded, the girl is called the compass girl because for the individual that is in love with her she's EVERYWHERE, there are elements in this painting that represent all about loosing a virginity in a very prompt stage of your life, I think I should let you explain yourself all you see and deduce that, I mean the pierced pearl necklace, the lap dog on the basket, the menstruating tiny doll with an eye face, and even the tea set for me is EVIL DUDE © Daniel Carabeo - =ninaste on Deviantart MY TERMS Enjoy Comments
I am really impressed with the lighting on this peace my friend. It can be difficult to get the tones of lighting correct when looking at the conner of a room. The sadness of the subject and the atmosphere really does complement the peace and it's concept. The details have been produced beautifully and you get such benefits from this by the fall view. The cups that are floating is a very novel idea. The whole image tells a story and would looks so divine as a front cover. I am really impressed by the quality of this work my friend. Adore it.
-- K-D-C ------------------------------------------------------------------- "I thought that, if the world won't change, we would never reach happiness" Mmm, sin contar con tu explicación o tu poema, a mi esta obra tuya me habla de sujeción y restricción de la condición femenina. Hay varios elementos que señalan el deber ser estereotipado de lo que una joven damita debe ser y aprender para existir en sociedad.
Aparte me gusta mucho la composición de los distintos elementos y el uso del espacio negativo. -- O maker of proud planet's negative, obscure the scalding sun till no clocks move. Marvelous details and that's a lovely source of inspiration from that beautiful poem.
-- Love is a divine accident, and is the greatest of all things in life. ♥ =K-D-C ♥ The bridge of salvation is never so far that it cannot be reached. If your will is unyielding, there is nothing you cannot do. es mi imaginación o la chica está saliendo de la taza? y va a salir otra pronto de la otra taza que está a la izquierda.

I quite like the construction of this, it reminds me of old masters portraits.
It's quite unusual to see you drawing a girl, but it's funny to recognize your "special way" to draw human bodies. you have your own style, no doubt.
talking of the character, I really love the face, especially the dreamy expression. it gives a lot of mystery to your character. the way the different objects are around here add mystery to your piece.
The colors are great, and the lighting is amazing. it reminds me of moonlight, but the purple add some warm tones to it.
to conclude, another good work of yours
