ON THE PIECE

WISDOM: is an ideal that has been celebrated since antiquity as the knowledge needed to live a good life.

knowledge, understanding, experience, discretion, and intuitive understanding, along with a capacity to apply these qualities well towards finding solutions to problems.

ARE YOU WISE?

My representation in the painting consists on showing how difficult I consider real Wisdom is to be achieved. Some might say Wisdom is achieved with age, but not necessarily, some others are born and gain this during experiences in life at a very young age, for me being wise means being in peace with yourself and knowing how to solve problems out without even having to get messed inside them, is one of my most elaborated ideas.

Becoming a wise man meant to me, the sublimity of my body, the delivery of my soul and the acceptance of the impossible, for how difficult it is for you to be born from a holed self, how would it be possible to do the impossible, is there anything impossible in life, Oh yes there is, gaining real wisdom and a man having a baby from an unexistent womb.

MEDIUM = Watercolor, different coloring materials, some color pencils, Markets, Ink, Crayons and a lot of patience. the Light was re adjusted in photoshop, and a texture from ~valkiria-stock was used in oppasity over the the skirt. All the Coloring work is done traditionally. Enjoy
