Some months ago I saw this [link] by ~Elda here on DA and I just really loved the whole sweet looking face of the doll, I started this boy as an exercise, trying to make a masculine version of her lovely work DOLL and ended up putting so much passion and love in him that he took his own personality to float and requested to be shown to the world just as he is.

Yeah, my art TALKS TO ME sometimes, it was very lovely to do a masculine version of a work I really love, even for the simplicity this work has, it's one of the closest to my heart right now since it's taking me back to my old artistic roots where only boys ruled my gallery and nothing came in between them and I.

I miss my boys, I miss my art just as it was, boy oriented, finding strange beauty in strange looking boys, I might as well bome back to that cause THIS IS TRULY WHAT I LIKE. PERIOD AND END

I am completely in love with this piece so excuse me while I fawn over it for a bit before I try write any critique.

I think my absolute favourite aspect of this is the skin tone, gosh the way you did the texturing and colour in it is so realistic but with a fantastical exaggeration that works incredibly, it feels like he is made out of pearl!

I love the face, the expression is beautiful and those amazing almost tear-stained eyes just get me any time I see you paint them.

The hair is amazing, such excellent textures in it and that flower is also gorgeous, its colours seeming to iterate the point of flesh and vulnerability that I get from this overall piece.

Gods those feathers that lay delicately on his shoulder might be one of my favourite parts too.

I love your beautiful boys and I am so glad to see you painting them in your recently grown style.

Your art seems to carry more and more remnants and skill of the classical, master painters of long ago that I so worship, a technique that seems to be getting far removed from modern art yet you capture it in the most unique of ways.

To be honest, I truly cannot think of much critique for this, everything works so well together. It has a mix of realism and surrealism that is kind of making it impossible for me to find any flaw.

I guess I will have to say that this comment is more an in depth peering into than an actual "improvement" comment, I hope that is alright. This piece has left me very inspired and spell-bound and so my only critique I will leave you with is that you do more work like this in the near future!

I really love the way the body was built, it depicts a lot of emotion and feeling. The anatom and porportions were absolutely amazing, as well as the facial expression and hair. I LOVE THE HAIR!

The only think I would have gotten on you on is the neck, in my sole opinion, is slightly too long. I also reccommend shaping his... testicles a little differently so the testicles don't outsize the actual penis. But good job, I love it a lot, and I would definitely love to see some more of your beautiful inspiring work! You keep drawing, dear.
